Decay

 

'Decay' explores the conceptual process of preserving natural roses in the manmade material of resin. I experimented with the notion of preserving time between the liminal space of life and death. 

 

 

This piece triggered the interest of how polar opposites can define each other. For example, there has to be a presence for there to be an absence.
